Hello! My name is Emily and I am a dog walker and pet sitter based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

Your dog's walks should meet their needs and be enjoyable for them. I understand that not every dog has the same idea of what is fun! With this in mind, I offer a range of different walk types, ranging from solo lead walks with plenty of opportunities to sniff, to group adventure walks in the countryside, and everything in between.

I also offer pet sitting services which can be tailored to meet your pet's needs, whether you are looking for someone to pop-in on your pet during the day or stay overnight while you are away.

Furthermore, I offer a pet taxi service, to ensure you don't miss important appointments.

I love working with animals, and will always treat them with kindness and respect.

I have an excellent understanding of dog body language due to having a range of professional experience:

• Guide Dog Trainer (Guide Dogs for the Blind, 2020-2024)

• Dog Care and Welfare Technician (Guide Dogs for the Blind, 2017-2020)

• Dog Wellbeing Volunteer (Battersea Cats & Dogs Home, 2017)

During my time working at Guide Dogs for the Blind, I also fostered numerous training dogs and dogs awaiting re-homing.

For your peace of mind

• I am fully insured and DBS checked.

• I am Dog First Aid & CPR Trained (CPD accredited course).

• I am a member of the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers (NARPS UK), meaning I adhere to a strict professional code of practice.

• My vehicle is fitted with a crash-tested and secure dog guard and cages, appropriate dividers and a range of bedding to ensure that your dog travels safely and comfortably.

• I always carry plenty of poo bags and a variety of treats, including hypoallergenic treats, to suit your dogs needs.

• I will towel dry your four-legged friend when we return from our walks and settle them when I leave.
